They'd have to be bold or courageous to do that, so no, probably not. They don't really have a history of challenging powerful Democrats.
Have they seriously challenged ANY democrat in recent cycles?
There's probably other posters that know more about them than me. Maybe tweed on AAD, but nothing comes to mind really. I think they have some clout in NYC politics and the state legislature and occasionally some mayoral race or something, but it's usually more like they back candidates in the Democratic primary - not actually challenge Democrats or Republicans in the general election. IMO, the WFP and other fusion parties are basically just big interest groups with the added bonus of maybe being able to attract voters with their ballot access and registered party members. I'm pretty skeptical that most of those party members are actually that loyal when push comes to shove though.
