The only drunk is MUCH more fun.  Especially at a funeral....or really anything church related.  Being the only sober among drunks is insane.

Hmmm..

I've been both, mostly because I started drinking way later than most teenagers.  The last time I was the only drunk, I pretty much did nothing except rail against this kid who had been a douche to me and the rest of my friends lately and then just tell my best friend who was driving me home how great of a friend he was and tried to hug him while he was driving at like 45 MPH.

Sober among drunk is also fun, but only if you are really in the mood to be a dick.  You can have a lot of fun tormenting the drunks.

I just returned from Oktoberfest in Munich. Plenty of both types on hand. Some of the drunk were going a bit far and falling unconscious on the ground. Not much interesting in that.

Drunk among sober. It's very similar to the normal situation of me just being a lot drunker than most of my friends and I don't have much shame.

I would say that being around other drunks while drunk facilitates that sort of regrettable behavior, though.

I don't mind being the sober among drunks...and often I am.  Honestly, I get just as much amusement out of the drunks.  But being the only drunk - people just think you're obnoxious.

Sober among drunks. If you're going to be inebriated, it's best to have a partner. If everyone else is going to be inebriated, you can  with them. I haven't had much experience being the only sober among drunks, but the only sober among stoned is very entertaining. And everyone thinks you're so much more funny!

Amen.......I like to have a Grey Goose neat and very cold with extra olives (or two) but I dont like to be drunk and I dont like drunks.
