I bring this up because he really split with the GOP on the Stimulus and has often ridiculed the right for their positions on stem cell research and the environment.  He's not making any new friends within the GOP.  Plus, it's not like he's going to continue his political career, which means he could do whatever he wanted without facing any major ramifications.


So would you be surprised if he endorsed Obama?

The only reason he's not a Democrat right now is because Gray Davis was one.  That's basically it.

Aside from the obvious answer (of course he will), will Arnold Schwarzenegger still be relevant in 2012? Then again, that implies that he is relevant now, which he hasn't been since at least 2005.

I guess the argument about Arnold helping is that he's actually popular nationwide but only very unpopular in CA.  But Obama will win CA anyway as the deep blue states have been somewhat immune from viewing him unfavorably.
