Seems to me that the Pakistani government/military is caught between a rock and a hard place.

U.S. government blames them for hiding Bin Laden, Taliban/al Qaeda carries out revenge bombings against them for Bin Laden's death.

Problem is that they probably are guilty of both aiding Bin Laden (at least some people in the Pakistani government) and helping the West in the fight against terrorism.
