I am excited that a primary is finally coming close, and I will be volunteering this week in Illinois.

Romney will win. The state will be expensive, and Romney has a better ground game here than any of his opponents, from what I've seen. If Santorum couldn't manage wins in Ohio and Michigan, I don't think he can win here, either.

First comes Puerto Rico.  Santorum will be fighting it, and it is winner take all.

Gingrich endorse could deliver the state to Santorum. The Santorum+Gingrich vote would have handed Santorum victories in Michigan and Ohio.

Unlike nations elections, Cook County won't have as large as an impact as the rest of the state (look at the 2010 Gubernatorial, great win). If Santorum can hold Romney at bay in the Northern suburbs and turn out the South, he wins, and he wins big.

Romney will win Illinois. Might not be pretty, but he isn't losing it after winning OH and MI. (Assuming there aren't major changes in national numbers, of course)

If Gingrich drops out then Santorum should win. If Gingrich stays in Romney will probably pull it out again.

Only if someone breaks 50%, which I doubt Santorum will.

Romney might.

23 delegates is pretty big in this race.

I'm not sure that they will have a clear delegate count (or a "winner") until after IL.

Gingrich has to get out. Some major Romney gaffes would help too.
