What's up with that red-dressed baby in this bowl ?

Is this a reference to abortion or that babies are born into "communism" under Obama or what ?

And why are all residents in "Obamaville" white ?

Ah, if Santorum thinks this is an effective ad ...

It is actually highly effective, at least in its basic components. It's probably not going to be particularly effective for Santorum at this juncture, however.

I saw a few seconds of it and it collapsed for an error.

If President Obama were so horrible he would have begun imposing the cultural rot already. He would be using welfare as patronage. He would push an unjust and destructive speculative boom (we did see that with an earlier President) and wars for profit and his glorification doomed to failure.

Hidden damage through insane wars and reckless speculation can take time to show up. But that said, we all know that the GOP promise of prosperity is "Give my favored people everything and expect miracles". Before those miracles happen things will be bleak indeed for most Americans.

Isn't this reality of small town life in America since lets say... 1980's?

To be fair, this is clearly at least a bit ironic.

But that precisely seems to undermine its effectiveness a little bit.
