So Biden clearly plays the race card and the Dems of course try to spin it otherwise.

Yes, because white Southerners are Racists and the electoral votes of the Southern States will always go to the most Racist Candidate because they hate anyone with black skin?

See, it wasn't that hard to understand.

It reflects poorly on you that you don't understand irony.

Desperate Dems, I warn you, do NOT make this election about race.  You WILL regret it.

Considering that your own party, to which you are so desperately loyal, come up with stuff like "Southern strategy", I'd rather be quiet.

Bill Clinton relied on a Southern Strategy when he picked Al Gore.  He wanted to win southern states.

Clinton aimed at forming a coallition between traditional Democrats, Blacks, other minorities and moderate Southern Democrats, Al Gore represented along with him. It was hardly comparable to the Republican "Southern strategy", based on racial divisions and appealing to racists.

Just face it, the modern Republican Party and it's voting coalition was formed on appealing to the disappointed segregationists and racists, who formed the Republican Solid South.

The only thing current Republican base has in common with Abraham Lincoln or Charles Sumner is the name only.

Is the Liberal meme that White Southerners are all racists that only vote with whichever party has a racist platform?

After all the Democrats before LBJ were the controlling White Southern Racist party.  Woodrow Wilson had ties to white supremist groups.

Key word bolded for you Smiley

Harry Truman dabbled with Ku Klux Klan membership and Robert Byrd was an out and out member of the Klan.

Harry Truman desegregated the U.S. military.

And they're both dead. Next.

Speaking of the present.  The last couple of days I haven't heard a word about this allegedly HUGE scandal with Biden.  Did something happen?  Did someone else say something that was actually offensive to a large cross section of society?  Just curious.  I've been out of the loop.

Its funny how the Obama campaign would rather talk about Social Issues than the Economy.

I don't think either party can win if they talk only about social issues, but it Seems that is all Obama/Biden is trying to do.

They're going to use Race baiting to increase Black turnout, even though Black unemployment is around 15%

They're going to use Abortion as a wedge issue to increase female turnout, even though many wives are now the primary breadwinners in their households because their husbands are out of work.

Its like Obama is trying to be a bizarro-Dubya Bush

We're using race-baiting? What about Newt saying black students should work as janitors at their schools to learn about working. What about Romney trying to stir p controversy at the NAACP? Or Mitt running millions of dollars worth of attack ads on Welfare. Every fact-checking agency, including Clinton and Joe Scarborugh, say Romney is blatantly lying? He's playing to uneducated white voters.

Oh, puhleeeeeeeze!

You know, history is important, because as the old saying goes, those who do not learn from the past are condemned to relive it.

No wonder the Dems are trying to hide old Joe.  I don't blame them.

I could talk about the present, about Obama's dismal economic performance, but this is not the place for that. Besides, you and your fanatical Dem compatriots would not like the facts.

No wonder Obama and the Dems are running away from the economy and trying to have race baiter Joe Biden inject race into the campaign.  After all, they have almost destroyed the country's economy.

I think we can safely say that never again will a state branch of the Democratic Party have 'White Supremacy' (or whatever it was the Alabama Democrats had written under their cock) as their official motto again. That was a long time ago now and, functionally, that Party no longer exists.
