For those who aren't aware, the Game Moderator reported that a serious tornado hit Kansas City, Missouri yesterday.

A massive tornado hit the Mideast Region today, damaging large areas in and outside Kansas City, Missouri.

I should note that this Act would not require any additional revenue be raised, as $400 M is the exact sum of what is left of the 2014 budget surplus. Without any further details from the GM, I can't be sure this is an appropriate sum, but it seems like a good place to start.

While not an Assemblyman, I do congratulate the Speaker on taking quick action to deal with this complicated situation while hoping this will pass as soon as possible. I do hope the rest of the rest of the regional government will take swift steps to handle the aftermath of this natural disaster.

I believe this disaster relief is critical to repairing the KC area, and it sounds like a good enough amount, at least with what we know.

This one is personal. Kansas City has been more than welcoming to me and one of the many communities of faith I attend while in its fine Bartle Hall. If we can also improve infrastructure as well it will be an all around win for the whole region.
