Islam - A very troubled religion, but not all bad
Abortion - Personally dislikes, but legal in the first semester, with the second leaning legal, and third strongly leaning illegal
Same Sex Marriage - In favour, or at least civil unions for all.
War in Iraq - Neutral, but very wary.  Opposed practically, but neutral-support conceptually
President Bush - Dislike, but not hate
Social Security Reform - Neutral
Affirmative Action - Strongly opposed, especially race-based
Energy - Uh...in favour of researching alternative sources, but not with too much government funding

That sounds about right.  We should do a forum of PC scores to try to get an average

What does everyone think the average forumites position on the following issues are?

Islam-Islam is bad side is definitely more outspoken
Abortion-that whole, women's body red herring fallacy
Same Sex Marriage-okay
War in Iraq-quite negative
President Bush-in general, not good
Social Security Reform-most don't undestand economics thoroughly enough to have a good debate so it turns into a Bush supporters v. liberals debate, without much regard to the issue.  In fact most debates are like this, sadly.
Affirmative Action-dislike, vehemently, except opebo and Waltermitty
Energy--see social security, replace the word "economics" with "energy"
and any others-issues are more about which politicains do you like rather than actual problems in our country.  I got depressed when I realised this truth about the forum.
