In the America™ forum game, most governors have the power to call special sessions of the legislature. Would you consider that dictatorship?

I didn't say that what NeverAgain is doing is dictatorial. I said that by allowing him to do this and setting this precedent, it opens up the possibility of a Governor becoming one. It simply lets the Governor have too much power over the legislature.

As I have attempted to solve your answers in PMs, but it seems there is confusion. I think that the only other option to console your grievances is to sue me, so either do so, or stop tarnishing the Executive Office's name with your pretenses.

Huh

Yeah, that's not how impeachment works. You don't get to throw the governor out of office because he vaguely alluded to some future action that may or may not have been legal (but probably was) on the grounds that it might possibly allow a future governor to become a dictator (who knows? better safe that sorry!). This is a political disagreement that ought to be settled at the ballot box, not in a court of law.

Perhaps the governor could have handled this better; the fact remains that the hypothetical consequences of potential future actions are not grounds for impeachment.

And why would I do that? We're not in any emergency situation. The South is not at war with anyone and the rules as established are operating. We have a speaker, we have bills in the delegates that are under debate and the legislative process is proceeding onwards.

The rules we are currently under are working.

I agree with you that the rules should be changed, which is why I sponsored your legislation so that we may consider it in the House of Delegates in it's proper order. I don't agree that this legislation should supplant all the other bills in front of it.

We are under no such emergency, Governor Never Again. The Chamber is functioning without your interference into our affairs.

Actually, the legislation is all bills that were already bills in the South before the reset. Again - I brought them up because all of this legislation I felt was worthy of consideration before the chamber of delegates.

Thank you Governor. I hope you understand that this thread was intended as a warning to please step away from the breach. It was not intended as a personal criticism of you, or to bar you from your criticisms of the chamber of the delegates. You are very much permitted to cajole us if you feel we are not doing our jobs.
