One is, in Mick Jagger's words, "sort of doomy ballad about drugs in Chelsea." The other, while definitely a song that gets you pumped up, is also a coded anthem of 1970s gay male hookup culture.

Trump's campaign music is very... queer. Village People, Elton John, Queen... At least The Rolling Stones on the surface makes more sense as classic/boomer rock, rather than campy gay disco.

The later, especially considering the later song was in 2020 and considering Trump shifted pretty rightward on LGBTQ issues during his Presidency.

YMCA's gay associations are well-known but it's also an extremely popular generic party song. You Can't Always Get What You Want is a classic too but my instinct is that it's (slightly) weirder for it to be used in an electoral campaign at all.

It was always surreal (and hilarious) to see him waddle off to YMCA. You Can't Always Get What You Want was a decent fit for the 2016 gloating.

YMCA?
I prefer "Hold On, I'm Coming".

YMCA is more outwardly comedic, but You Can't Always Get What You Want is funny in the same way it's funny when he calls Sunset Boulevard his favorite movie. It says more about him than he could ever possibly understand.

The first one with hindsight. Although YMCA was the most iconic, especially with those moves.

Campy gay disco is one of the most popular types of Boomer music.

Both are great choices.
