Communitarian is very cool sounding I think.  Personally I'd rather not join a party with "Christian" or "Conservative" in its name, but I doubt that would single handedly keep me out (unless it was "Christian Conservatives Against Harry" or something Wink )

CCAH!  CCAH! Wink  It has a good ring. (Kidding, kidding.)

Communitarian does sound good and original, but it half sounds like communists and half like libertarians, and populists are neither. lol

I'd rather keep Conservative or Christian out of the name also come to think of it. Patriot, Populist, or Peoples seem like the best to me.

Well, progressive conservatism is just basically the moniker I've adopted (stolen from Bullmoose) to define social conservatives and fiscal liberals.

Looks like it. Smiley

Let me add that I find it very amusing that I'll be in the same party as my two biggest political opponents from my Senatorial days (Harry and Jake). Grin

I don't know about what Harry was like back then, but wasn't Jake a libertarian back then?

Yep, Jake was a right-libertarian. Now he's a right-communitarian. Harry was a center-leftist then, and has moderated a bit. Ah, the good old days...

This should definitely be an eclectic organization.  I never knew there were this many social conservatives and fiscal liberals in the Atlas!

(Looks like we're leaning towards becoming the XDems.  Sweet! :-D)

You guys could be cool and call yourselves "The Party."

Oh wait, this is a populist party.  It has nothing to do with being cool... Wink Tongue
