A rematch of the ages. Two-time presidential candidate Hillary Clinton wins the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, after inexperienced candidates Cory Booker and Kamala Harris bow out, Bernie Sanders can't expand his political base. She faces President Trump again in a classic rematch. Who finally wins this time? Discuss with maps.

The odds are in Trump,s favor. She is now facing Trump with the advantage of the incumbency, unless he starts off a unpopular war or the economy is in recession.

In this scenario, I think Hillary would be in a position similar to that of Adlai Stevenson in 1956.

This might even be a little optimistic for Hillary.

This might even be a little optimistic for Hillary.

I think that's too optimistic for Trump.

Michigan won't go to him again.  Also, Hillary would not make the same mistake with regard to Wisconsin, PA, and MI...she would campaign in all three extensively.  New Hampshire also won't go to Trump.  Sure, it was close last time, but his approvals there are way too low to make it a close race in the state; same goes with Minnesota.

I would say, the 2016 map, but switch Michigan to Hillary.  PA and WI would be the closest states, but probably lean Hillary considering the trouble Trump is in (assuming he doesn't straighten out his administration, and himself, before then).

White Americans don't regret their decision. Trump would win again, flaws and all.

Is this being asked of what would happen now before the future upcoming indictments of the Trump campaign contacts?.....

"Hillary won the popular vote and lost the 3 decisive states by 0.2%, 0.7%, and 0.7%. Multiple analysts agree she only lost the electoral college at all because of the last second interference by Comey. Therefore she'd have no chance in a rematch against Trump and would get crushed in a landslide."

"Kasich lost the popular vote by 31 points and won nothing besides his home state. Therefore he'd have a good chance at beating Trump in a rematch."
