I get the sense that Walker was getting sick of his job and was satisfied with what he had done over 8 years but ran for a third term to give the party a shot at holding the governorship. He was pretty casual throughout the whole thing, whereas he's usually a total monster when campaigning. Most of his social media posts were personal/not political. What do you think?

I wouldn’t say he didn’t care, I think he was just sanguine about it since he knew he was unlikely to win.
