It'd definitely help to allow time for debate beforehand, but it still doesn't change the fact that redrafts allow the president to theoretically have the last word on how any bill in Atlasia looks right before they sign it. And not only that, they have the advantage of presenting their bill to Congress as a presidential redraft, that makes it sound important, and the only way for the Congress to fight back is to vote down the bill. And you should know as well as anyone here, Yankee, that it can take a lot to kill a bill in this game sometimes.
