I would encourage a resident of Connecticut to comment on their thoughts of this proposal. I am willing to support this bill if we receive evidence that it is supported by the residents of Connecticut. I will note further that we would likely need the federal government to sign off on this after we approve it here.

This amendment is unconstitutional as the federal constitution states Connecticut is part of Lincoln and regions don’t have the power to kick or add other states out of their region.
