The new version of Safari, Safari 12.0, has permanently disabled Microsoft Silverlight, and thus Dave's Redistricting will no longer work in Safari.

just download it on firefox version 48 and enable Silverlight. It crashes more and is slower, but unfortunately, we have no other solutions. I'll do some research though

I'm still on 11.1, but are there any alternatives to DRA?

I'm a programmer, I'll see if I can possibly put something together.

For those who are curious...certain OS versions may be in conflict with DRA/Silverlight - even if you have a compatible browser:

Does anyone know where the precinct maps of each state came from?

While it won't help those of you with overpriced Macs, IE 11 still works with Silverlight and is unlikely to stop working because M$ wants everyone to use Edge rather than IE so they don't do anything other than maintenance releases for IE.

They're technically not precinct maps. They are maps of VTDs or block groups, depending on the state. They are ultimately derived from the Census Bureaus' 2012 VTD Tiger/Line shapefiles in some states and 2010 or 12 Block Group shapefiles.
