Assuming Kasich, Haley, Flake, Corker, Sasse, or any other Republican instead of Trump is nominee, whether or not Trump was impeached or simply decided not to run again is not determined.

Probably still Dem because I believe that the nominee in most cases would be preferable, but might support Kasich if I really dislike the Democrat.

I mean, there are many Republicans even worse than Trump (as hard as that is to believe) ... in other words, it's not like I'm voting for Steve King.  Ever.  However, in most scenarios (and especially with the names you listed), solid GOP.

Still for the Democrat. Always for the Democrat. If anything they might have an even easier time winning now that the Trump cult has the potential to feel scorned.

Barack Obama said something about putting lipstick on a pig during the 2008 campaign...I know he comparing George Bush and John McCain, but the same comparison applies here too.

I would still vote Democratic in this scenario. As long as the Republican candidate's political positions cater to large corporations over ordinary Americans and white men over all other demographic groups, I will not vote Republican.

Not vote. My party would be stolen from me. This will not happen.

Agreed.  If it's someone I can stand, I'll vote Democratic.  It likely will be someone I can stand, however.

In normal circumstances I could see myself voting for Flake, I could definitely see myself voting for Kasich...but considering the way things are, I could only see myself doing it IF the Democrat is someone I can’t stand.

This. Probably, Democrat (Biden/Brown/Bullock...). If Dem nominee Gillibrand/Warren/Booker, than Republican nominee (only if Republican nominee moderate)

That's one of my least favorite things that Obama has ever said. I love pigs. Pigs are adorable and smart. Republicans are not. It's more like putting lipstick on a torn burlap sack filled with pig feces.

Possibly GOP, depending on the candidate. Kasich and Flake are no's, but the others I'd probably vote for.
