I've seen this mysterious word "scrutiny" popping up a lot, but am utterly befuddled by how it seems to have two different meanings depending on context. Oh, denizens of Atlas, please help me better understand this enigmatic and intriguing concept.

Option 1, of course. I'm pretty sure that you made this thread in reference to criticism towards Sanders but let's not pretend that Bernie Sanders supporters don't delve into option 2 as well, and don't necessarily have all the moral high-ground.

Option 1 of course, but option 2 is how literally most of Atlas looks at even the slightest negative critique of their preferred candidate.
