Very well. Had an excellent summer, had a wonderful relationship, and ending it single and alone. Not being sarcastic.

Mixed.

Cannot say good or bad.

Financially pretty good though.

Personally/professionally, it has been a very good year for me Smiley.

However, in terms of national/internationa news, community news and other news its been a rough year for the broader society Sad.

Yeah pretty much this. Probably the best year for my academic, romantic and social life. But the international situation is gross

Not as terrible as 2016 or 2017, but worse than 2018. The biggest highlight (in a bad way) is the fact that my dad closed his business and caused me to lose my job. Furthermore he is moving to Florida in a month or two. That alone is reason enough for this year to be trash to me.

I nearly flunked out of college during the first half of the year and I kinda still feel isolated on campus. A little better than last year but overall, it wasn't a good year by any stretch.

I can't complain, but sometimes I still do.  Life's been good to me so far.

Not great but at least ended far better than it started, which was a 2018-carryover seven month long
near constant anxiety/panic relapse thanks to several things going on in my personal life.

Unlike many other years of the decade like 15 and 16 which were "meh", 2019 had both great and horrible times, making it a real mixed bag. Take 2019 without January, February or December (especially Jan.) and it's solidly better than 2018.

I stripped onstage during an improv show in March and it just got progressively worse from there

With 2019 safely behind us, a recap:
-Got the job I wanted, switched to day shift, got the duties I wanted.
-Finished my master's degree and wrote a thesis.
-Started a doctoral program.
-Tried to play tennis.
Nevertheless, definitely felt like dating/romance-wise things weren't going so well, and were on a downward slope. Went on one date after April.

All around, a good year, but now that I'm on day shift I'll have to be making an effort to rejoin society.

Pretty eventful.

Lost both of my parents. Mother was only 64 but had various ailments and was schizophrenic. My father was 80 and had a spinal injury. In other words, heart breaking losses back to back. But still, 80 is slightly above average lifespan for my father's demographics especially with his injuries. Also my mother was so mentally and phyically ill that I can truly say she is in a better place now.

I was hospitalized for a few days.

Did travel a bit more than usual.

Got promoted and moved out east.

Pretty good, but 2020 is going to be very stressful as I prepare my college applications, begin my senior year, and in November send the applications off to either be accepted or denied from a half dozen schools that I have a strange belief will make or break my future.

Trust me, it won’t. Anyways incredibly mediocre year, one of the most eventful years of my life yet still boring, 4/10.

A massive upward trajectory compared to 2018.
