Clearly no drawbacks to appointing a literal child to run the EPA.

I mean, we seem to be trending more and more towards Cabinet members being the “Face” of that Department and hiring a Deputy or COO to run the administrative part of it. This is just that, taken to the extreme.

That still implies the child must have the skills to properly vet and hire qualified public administrators and technical experts and to know when to take or ignore advice, recognize ineffectiveness, fire bad employees, and still have a baseline knowledge of the hundreds of federal laws and regulations tasked to EPA and how to implement policy legally.

I know this is just virtue signaling pretend, but anyone who thinks its appropriate to choose a child to run what is purportedly a scientific regulatory body never gets to whine about "muh Trump" again IMO. (Also in before the inevitable "muh Trump is a childz ... muh Trump is dumber than a childz ... muh childrens is smarter than Trump").
