I'm supporting Paul Vallas. I can understand the criticism, but I think he's the only candidate that will bring about meaningful change to the status quo. All the other candidates either are too green to be an effective executive, or will just continue the Lori Lightfoot path of descent into chaos. His policing plan makes a lot of sense, and seems like the most viable plan out of all the candidates to turn things around.

Haven't been following the race too closely but I've really liked what I've seen from Green it's a shame he doesn't have much of a chance Johnson and Chuy also seem acceptable to me. I just hope we don't have a Vallas Lightfoot runoff.

I’m sad Wilson didn’t pull through but at least Lightfoot is out.

Actually I take this back. Some of Johnson's proposals like his increase to Chicago's already highest in the country hotel tax and his Metra tax proposal are non-starters. So Garcia it would've been after all.

Lousy runoff but Vallas might as well be a Republican in this case so I'd probably still have to vote for Johnson regardless.

I dislike all of them, so I'd have probably just stuck with Lightfoot.
