Mr. Attorney-General,

I would like to announce that you have my endorsement in this February's Gubernatorial Election. You will serve the office with grace and dignity, just like you have served in the past as Lieutenant Governor of the Mideast and as Attorney-General.

Could you tell us more about your budget plans? I'd be keen to find out.

You'll understand that I don't have hard numbers, but a regional budget for the Northeast should prescribe spending for all departments of the government as well as total receipts by category.

I thank you for your endorsement.

Live from Concord, NH...

My fellow Atlasians,

I thank you for coming here to hear me today! I am running for Governor of this great region to bring change and a new way of governing to this region. Governor MAS has done a fine job, but we must move forward now. This region must remain a region where partisan politics don't work, this region must remain active, this region must remain well known for high citizen participation. I am proud that this region is known for participation of its voters.

With myself and Lief, we can bring change. Some might be worried that Lief will be too much of a left-wing leader, but I am certain that he will be an independent-minded Lt. Governor who will work for the best interest of this region, and not for partisan gain. I will do the same thing as Governor.

I will not be a Governor who will work as a liberal, or a conservative, or a socialist on controversial issues. I will work as an independent centrist governor that will work with a team of qualified individuals, not a team of liberals, not one of conservatives either. We need to get beyond liberal vs. conservative vs. left-wing politics.

Let's lead the Northeast into 2008 together!

Vote Hashemite/Lief!

I'm glad to see you enter the race—things were a bit boring with Rocky's one-man race.  Whomever wins this upcoming election (be it you or AndrewCT) will make an excellent Governor, of that I'm sure.

What progress has been made on the Wiki since you took over the position of Attorney General?

Office holders list and amendments are always up to date, and Frodo has been doing a lot of the work on the statute that I would do otherwise.

Elections have been also kept up to date.

Mr. Attorney General, I of course would like to wish you nothing but the best of luck in your candidacy, and I'm sure that both campaigns will be a clean and positive one.

I also wanted to let you know that I'm always open for debate, so if anyone wants to moderate it, let us know when and I'll be there!

I could always moderate the debate. Though that may be a conflict of interest, considering I've endorsed the campaign of the Attorney-General. If no one else would like to, them you can always call on the outgoing Lieutenant Governor Wink.

I personally would have no problem with the Lt. Governor moderating this debate. I believe that he is honest man, will produce a fair debate.

If that is fine with the Attorney-General, then I will moderate the debate. Any preferences of when you'd like the debate to be held?

Fellow Northeasterners!

This campaign seems to be coming to its close. It's been quite a short campaign but thankfully we've been able to hold a debate. I hope we can pull off a victory in the election, but I would happily serve under AndrewCT if he's elected. He is also a great Atlasian and I wish him the best. You can be sure that if elected, AndrewCT will have a top job in my administration. He deserves the privilege to continue holding office in the Northeast.

I would like to also urge voters to read through the debate thread between me and Andrew if they have not done so already. I outlined my priorities, my personal views on a few issues, and my view on the gubernatorial veto in the debate.

Let's continue to make the Northeast a great region for everybody!

Vote Hashemite/Lief 2008!

Press Release

Numerous AndrewCT voters have been writing in my name for Lt. Governor, and AndrewCT himself announced yesterday that he called his supporters to write me in. If a majority of the Northeast voters write me in, I will accept to serve as Lt. Governor of the Northeast. However, my campaign is not suspended and I still urge voters to support me for Governor.

My fellow Northeast citizens,

The results have shown us a narrow victory for Chief Judge AndrewCT. We

Crowd boos

"Je vous demande de vous arreter"... "Je vous demande de vous arreter"...

Crowd stops

We came close, with 7 votes to 8 votes for AndrewCT. We have received the support of numerous fine Northeast citizens. I am confident that Andrew will be a good governor and I hope that I will I have the chance to serve in the Northeast government in the near future.

I thank my voters and my supporters for their support, and I congratulate AndrewCT for his victory and a great campaign. I also congratulate Lief for his election and I wish him the best as Lt. Governor.

I would also like to congratulate Phil for his election as President and Verily for his re-election as governor.
