It appears that I should've registered 2.5 days earlier than I did. Sad Oh well, there's always the next election.

Indeed, but don't worry, there's an election coming up in August to look forward to.

That's when the nationwide senate seats come up for election, right?

The disunity of the misnamed Atlasian Unity Bloc in choosing candidates is perhaps the most entertaining aspect of this election.

There was a few minor errors in the printing of the absentee ballot, I hope that the two voters did not intend on voting NOTA or for a write-in candidate.

I find the AUB to be quite bewildering. They don't seem to have any particular purpose or ambition, and their one policy (anti-Xahar) has been so ineffective that they haven't even managed to prevent him running in an election on the AUB ticket. And for irony, the AUB is running 3 candidates against one another in their first election.

Clearly unity for the sake of unity isn't a viable political message, which leads me to believe that the AUB's purpose may well be, somewhat remarkably, to try and copy the JCP system of a group united solely to achieve office rather than achieve objectives. I can't though see it being anywhere nearly as effective as the JCP of course, indeed I'd be surprised if the AUB is still active by year's end.

Correct. The AUB seams to have no raison d'être. I can't see it doing much. I only joined to spite it.

This is actually the 2nd AUB election, the first was the Southeast SE.  Thankfully I received the party endorsement, however, the vote of another party member for BaconKing doomed me in

Hashemite, you ranked two people #199,000,000. Therefore, neither of those preferences will count.
