Will he take it, or hold out for the senate seat, or keep his leadership ranking in the House (poised to become majority/minority leader eventually).

I'm not sure if anyone has ever had so many varying political options as our dear friend Rahm in quite some time.

Rahm says ok.

Is Chief of Staff really a promotion for this cat?

I guess it takes him out of the running for the senate seat.  He'll do a great job.
