There are currently twenty-one Committees in the United States Senate.  If you could, what Senator would you have Chair each Committee?  The only rule is that each Senator can only Chair one Committee, and they must presently be a member of the Committee you are having them Chair.
Senators marked with an * Chair the Committee in rel life as well.

Here's my list, Ben.  There's a number of choices where we are of one mind, but my list is a little bit less favorable to moderates, Mr. Nelson notwithstanding.

•   Appropriations: Dick Durbin (Illinois)
•   Armed Services: Jack Reed (Rhode Island)
•   Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs: Sherrod Brown (Ohio)
•   Budget: Mark R. Warner (Virginia)
•   Commerce, Science and Transportation: Maria Cantwell (Washington)
•   Energy and Natural Resources: Jeff Bingaman (New Mexico)
•   Environment and Public Works: Barbara Boxer (California)
•   Finance: Jay Rockefeller (West Virginia)
•   Foreign Relations: Russ Feingold (Wisconsin)
•   Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions: Tom Harkin (Iowa)
•   Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs: Carl Levin (Michigan)
•   Judiciary: Patrick Leahy (Vermont)
•   Rules and Administration: Robert C. Byrd (West Virginia)
•   Small Business and Entrepreneurship: John F. Kerry (Massachusetts)
•   Veterans’ Affairs: Jim Webb (Virginia)
•   Indian Affairs: Daniel Akaka (Hawaii)
•   Ethics (Select): Mark Pryor (Arkansas)
