Let's say Bush barely looses in 2000 to Gore, and runs again On a platform of fighting terrorism and fixing the economy. He beats Gore due to the country's problems and Problems with Gore leading to Pick John Edwards as his new VP.

In his first term, W manages to fix the economy and successfully fights Al Quada in Afghanistan.  But, the situation intensifies in Iraq and Iran.

With This, W. is up for another term, and an upstart Illinois senator Barack Obama defeats John Edwards for the Democratic Nomination, and the election looks to be an interesting one

Now, it's your turn. You pick the VP's, and now you decide who wins and looses.

Here's my version:

W picks the same man he choose in 2004, John Thune, while Obama choose Evan Bayh.

Bush/Thune- 322
Obama/Bayh-216

Incredibly unrealistic scenario, but...
