I know this is an extremely unlikely scenario, but bear with me here. Charles Evans Hughes (losing 1916 GOP nominee) survives several years longer than in RL and is in relatively good health. The 1952 GOP convention is deadlocked between Ike and Robert Taft, and since neither candidate wants to withdraw, both sides agree to settle on a compromise candidate. In a surprise, they pick the 90-year old Hughes. The Demcorats still nominate Stevenson in 1952 as they did in RL. Everything else stays the same. You pick the VPs. Discuss, with maps.
