A vacancy exists for 1 seat in the Northeast Assembly.

Any resident of the Northeast who is interested in running for this vacant Assembly seat is invited to declare their candidacy in the candidate declaration thread.

The election will begin Saturday, August 13, and voting will be for 3 days until Tuesday, August 16, 2011.

You have to do this in the candidate declaration thread.  Also, you can't hold the position of Assemblyman and Lt. Gov.

If you are elected, you would have to resign as Lt. Governor to take a seat in the Assembly, meaning we'd have to look for a new Lt. Governor once again.

I thought this would be going into the next term and thus after my tenure as Lt. Governor had ended. If not, I would like to retract my declaration.
