Don't know if this is worth making a brand new thread, but what the hey, not much else of import going on at the moment.

Football as a verb?  I think I'm going to start adopting both Romney's verbiation of nouns and opebo's nounization of adjectives.  So if I was going to say:

"The quick fox jumped over the lazy dog."

I'd replace the nouns with adjectives, and replace "jumped" with a noun that jumps:

"The quick kangarooed over the lazy."

The quick brown fox mitted the lazy dog.

*to mitt: the act of straping one's pet to the roof of a car, like a pair of skis.

Very good!  Excellent thread Mordant.  I always say - though Mitt is a terrible man, I like his style: awkward, absurd, and seemingly tongue-in-cheek.
