There's no indication that these are gemstone quality diamonds, but then the dirty little secret is that those aren't where the most money is to be made from diamonds.

Indeed all the reports are saying that these diamonds are extremely hard, making them ideal for industrial use. And yes, industry is the big diamond market. For gemstone markets this will have little effect.

I'm not normally much of a bleeding heart, but I do think anybody that wears (or buys) diamonds is a sh**t head.
