Generally, probably.  When it comes to specific acts, probably not.

Just wondering, what do you think people at your church would think of this Christian music?

Yes, not quite frequently, but not infrequently.

The last time was during his first couple months here. He seems to have sadly allowed the dark side--modern music by bands that are incomprehensible--to have swallowed his impressionable mind whole.

I don't know what any of the bands he listens to sound like, but based solely on the pictures of the members of those bands he puts in his signature, I'm sure they sound terrible.

I don't listen to angsty children's music.

Neither do I. However he does appear to like La Dispute, which is more for like young adult wannabe "intellectuals".

They are. This however is La Dispute:

My girlfriend got me into La Dispute. As cliche as it sounds, I listen to them and I feel something on a deeper level than normally.

Also yes, I tend to agree with myself musically.

I recall him saying that he liked In the Court of the Crimson King a long time ago, so yes, I have. That was the sole occasion, though.

Probably more than with you, BRTD, which itself is depressing enough.

Your musical compatibility with MusicIsMyLife50 is LOW
Music you have in common includes Say Anything, Fall Out Boy, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, My Chemical Romance and Jawbreaker.

Which reminds me, I'm not sure if I ever told you I liked that Teenage Cool Kids album you recommended.

Basically all he listens to is Enter Shikari, so there's really not a whole lot of wiggle room to agree or disagree.

including RUSH and Radiohead, which is why I voted yes.

Actually, it's a tough thing finding yourself in music.  I, too, was a guitar player and singer in a band in college and grad school.  Luckily, we didn't quit our day jobs.  Yeah, we had fun, but it was never going to pay the rent.  Have fun with it, but don't quit your day job either.  Whether or not you ever go nationwide may have less to do with how good you are than with other factors.  So far, I've enjoyed most of the clips you have linked, and more importantly you look like you're having fun.  In my opinion, you should just express yourself honestly and let the chips fall where they may.
