Ever since I moved to the UK, I've noticed that there are cameras everywhere here. There's generally less crime here, but the cameras still make me feel incredibly uncomfortable.
Surveillance does not even come close to attacking the nature behind crime in America.
Cool. It's always nice when someone with a passport posts. Europe is definitely drowning in CCTV. I have never seen anything like it. Those cameras are everywhere. I don't know about the crime stats though. I thought there was far more petty crime such as public drunkenness and fighting at least in the UK and Ireland. I never really examined the statistics but it just felt that way over there.
