John McCain is most definitely NOT a RINO... If voting with your party 80% of the time is considered not pure enough I don't know what is.

Well Ronald Reagan said if you agreed with the party line 80% of the time you are a friend. I guess the hard-right wants to violate the Reagan Rule. Ed Koch thought you were nut if you agreed with him 100% of the time

100% isn't being crazy, that's mindless sycophantic behavior.

John McCain is one of the biggest voices of reason left in the party.

The Arizona GOP along with the Iowa GOP seem to be extremely right-wing compared to the state's political composition.

I guess the Arizona GOP wants to repeat in 2016 the sterling success the Indiana GOP had in 2012 of getting rid of a RINO Senator.

If the AZ GOP gets rid of McCain and Carmona runs, I think Dems have a good chance of picking this one up in 2016.

This is the stupidest reason for censuring somebody I've seen. I'm definitely not a fan of John McCain, but censuring him over a 20% disagreement of his record? C'mon

LOL, the Democratic equivalent would be Washington Democrats calling Patty Murray a DINO.
