Bush was better when it comes to social issues. Trump is better on everything else, especially foreign policy (so far).

From a purely issues-based perspective, this.  However, Bush's character advantage tips the scales to him (or at least ties it).

This, but I'd say Bush's character tips the scale big time in bis favor

Bush really had the misfortune of being president in a very turbulent time (probably the most turblent since the 60's) and was forced to make some big decisions and picked wrong on a lot of them. Trump has created every "crisis" of his administration. My worst fear is that he has to deal with a 9/11 level crisis.

So Bush. Just try to imagine a Trump response to 9/11 or the financial crisis.

This, plus I really believe Bush is a good man with good intentions

Both were/are terrible, (Duh), but Dubya at least had a good heart and tried to do the right thing. Trump just likes to get a rise out of pissing people off.
