Here’s a good video on redlining and its effects
https://youtu.be/e68CoE70Mk8

How would you, policy wise, solve this problem? Vouchers? Opportunity zones? Tearing town dilapidated homes and building new affordable ones to increase property value? More cops? End the drug war? A combination? Something totally different? Discuss, because this topic really interests me. It seems to be the root of a lot of the problems in the minority community today.

Mass-scale urbanism would help, so many of your suggestions are covered. Of course the usual suspects would scream “gentrifying!!!” and block needed redevelopment, which of course is a tremendous help to everyone in communities of color who are now priced out of their homes.
