She should stop talking because she is corrupt and elitist. It has nothing to do with her gender.

So I guess you are opposed to Mitt Romney running for senate.

Hey, I'm going to show y'all a magic spell. It's called "not pretending sexism doesn't exist because you don't like the woman hurt by it".

Well, the first sentence is true. But so is Donald Trump and I've never seen you say he should stop talking.

Probably because he’s the President of the United States.

Remember most of those here can't admit that sexism didn't play a role in the last election.  Especially those leftist bros who I see all throughout this thread keep telling her to shut up.

She's been much more outspoken than any recent losing candidate.  No Al Gore doesn't count.  He talked about global warming, not Bush ad nausea.

She should have seen this coming - I thought she was tough, guess not?

Go look up how many Sunday shows McCain appeared on during the Obama presidency.

https://www.nytimes.com/2014/09/06/upshot/looking-for-john-mccain-try-a-sunday-morning-show.html

Between January 2009 and September 2014 he appeared on the Sunday shows 97 times. That's hardly going away and not being unspoken.

Pretty much yeah.  The only difference with Clinton is that whenever she does anything, the media sees an opportunity to take yet another jab at her and Atlas-At-Large also sees the chance to take yet another jab at her.  Basically, when McCain did anything everyone was fine with ignoring it.  When Clinton does the same, everyone can't resist putting in their two cents.

And let's not forget that McCain showed genuine pettiness when it came to Obama in 2009 and 2010.
But yeah, he is a loved maverick while she is a corrupt bitch.

And conservative media got up in arms when Obama reminded McCain that he won the election. That was ungracious. But now Trump spends his executive time on Twitter slamming his opponent a year and a half after the election and it's just another day.

Hillary's haters always had a special way to prove her right.

Whether you like her or not, Hillary has made an historic footstep by being the first woman to win a major party's presidential nomination. Her insight and opinions should be valued and respected (and debated too, of course).

We won't ever live in a post-paratrical society if we keep telling powerful women to shut up and stand beyond. Hillary made inroads for women around the globe that should be seen as milestone, not as a burden because of white dudes. Hillary should be the one getting television appearances and speaking out against Trump. No matter what the critics say about her I'll always be #withher.

Many of the people who want her to shut up are Democrats who understand that the more prominent she is on the national stage during this time. The more it hurts their political prospects. The fact remains she is a politically divisive person which Democrats do not want around when this off your election shaping up to be I'm very positive for them, if not possibly transformative. Many Democrats who voted for her probably want her to shut up, at least for now, so it's not to give Republican something tangible to run against. Sure, fundraising letters and Trump's tweets will inevitably always till the end of time rail against crooked Hillary. However, the more Hillary is out of the spotlight, the more foolish and unappealing to mainstream votors those attacks appear. The more she's in the news, though, the more such attacks can resonate as a choice between two evils which is what got Trump elected in the first place.

I suspect most of her Democratic attackers wouldn't mind a bit if she got back in the public life in some form after the Democrats retake Congress and the White House oh, but don't help the Republicans in the meantime by maintaining a high profile.
