Yes.  But it means that when there is a large number of candidates in a particular race, we will rarely make an endorsement.

Yes.  But it means that when there is a large number of candidates in a particular race, we will rarely make an endorsement.

If a majority of the members of the Party oppose the candidate that is being endorsed, then that's what should happen.

If a majority of the members of the Party oppose the candidate that is being endorsed, then that's what should happen.

Well, I don't believe a majority of this party "opposes" the candidates that the largest number of party members voted for, but that's another matter.

Perhaps if abstentions were not counted in the tabulation, then it might influence members to actually vote for the candidate(s) they feel best represent the party, and then the party as a whole might come closer to reaching a consensus.  If the largest party in Atlasia is to remain relevant, then it must take a stand in each election.

Gentlemen, we can decide this again when Q takes over as chairman. 

I'm sure he'll have an idea of an amendment to the Bylaws to change it to what he thinks best and when can talk about it then when he does.

The Union Party chooses to endorse Colin Wixted in this election.

Pacific:

True Independent - 1
Abstain - 1

The Union Party chooses to abstain from endorsing anyone in this election.
