LMAO, I just read an article on CNN saying Missouri is in play, of course it is not, it is safe R, but in the hypothetical Trump loses MO 49-48, what would be your election prediction?

MO is safe R with the current matchup, but for the hypothetical's sake:



Besides AK and KS which fall before MO, other safe R states which can theoretically be won by Democrats in this political generation at the presidential level are MS and SC. I think MO would flip just before MT in 2020, but am not certain enough to put MT out of the pure tossup zone, whereas MS and SC are probably a little further away. The rest that's in red is all inevitably R no matter the candidates and environment.

Edit: UT also belongs in this category, but only in the event of a strong third-party challenge that disproportionately hurts Republicans there.
