Out of interest, how much do you all know about these parties? (and a quick glance at Wikipedia don't count)

I already knew enough to pick a party in France, Germany, UK, Canada, US, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Spain. I did a bit of research on Taiwan to find the pro-Independence party and already had an idea of whether I'd be pro- or anti-Putin.

Thailand - Democrats, as I said.  Alas I think they get about 30% of the vote Sad
South Korea - Democratic Labour
North Korea - Kim Jung Ill
Italy - Democrats of the Left
Turkey - Republican People's Party
San Marino - hah
Argentina - socialists
Philippines - Party of the Philipino Masses - though I'm very unsure here - the Thai Democrats are a bunch of eggheaded liberals - university professors, the educated upper middle classes, etc.  They have discussed legalizing prostitution, and are really not very left wing economically at all.  The Philippines is perhaps the worlds number two destination for fun, so one has to be careful what one supports..
Poland - not sure.. which is the least anti-prostitution?
Greece - don't know
Bulgaria - don't know
Romania - Democrats
Portugal - Left Bloc
New America Wink - BRTD's party, whatever it is called.

Not really a quick glance. I read up a lot on wikipedia and electionworld whenever elections or whatever come up around those countries. And I know about Thailand because of opebo. I hope your reply doesn't mean you'd vote for Thaksin (although I imagine many forumites would vote for him now soely to piss off opebo despite his many obvious flaws)

I don't know how they stand on prositution, but you said you hate Arroyo because of that and they were the main opposition in the last election. According to electionworld there's a party simply called the "Liberal" party, which I assume is Liberal in the non-American definition, which sounds like the Thai Democrats, and then probably your best bet.

As for Poland, I'd guess Citizens Platform, although your best bet would simply be to hang out in East Germany for awhile (which I hear is full of Polish prostiutes)
