Guess I'm gonna have to vote for Trump if this keeps up.

Congratulations on saying the single dumbest thing I’ve ever read on this site. No small feat! And you pulled it off easily!

Regardless of who you may support, which candidate do you think did the best job in the debate?

Warren - 28%
Biden - 15%
Sander - 13%
Buttigieg - 11%
Klobuchar - 4%
Booker - 2%
Harris - 1% (!)
Yang - 1%
Everyone else below 1%.

If the topline numbers are accurate and this section is too we definitely live in the most confusing timeline.

Thinking someone won a debate does not necessarily mean you think they should be president. Plus not everyone watched or followed news about the debate, and those who didn’t weren’t part of this question. I wouldn’t be surprised if there is considerable overlap between Biden supporters and those who didn’t watch. Biden supporters are more likely to not have a college degree, more likely to be a racial minority, more likely to be older, etc. — I’m guessing many of the 4 of 5 Democrats polled who did not watch fell into these categories.

You have to remember that sites like this are bubbles. Atlas is a bubble, Twitter is a bubble, Reddit is a bubble — the whole internet is basically a bubble. It skews young, white, and educated. This is especially true for political discussion forums. Offline, you’ll find a lot more Biden supporters (and Trump supporters for that matter). They might be something of a “silent plurality.”

This debate was the lowest rated yet, at 8.3 million viewers, but...there'll probably only be 30-35 million voters in the primary.

If you think of 20-25% of the electorate watching an event, that's a huge slice, and this is the LOWEST rated debate.

Ugh, how did Biden gain 10% out of nowhere? He's still the frontrunner, no doubt, but that much? I consider the poll an outlier, but we have to see how the next polls go.
The race appears to have corrected back to this sort of state every time there has been a major change. Now the Warren gains are correcting. I really can't explain what force is causing this but it happens consistently.
Why bother changing it?

CNN polls feature massive swings poll to poll no matter what the race is, why do they even bother?

I don't believe these CNN Polls one bit. Since switching from ORC to SSRS their Polls have been crap. They had Gillum & Nelson winning FL last year.

YEEEES, Uncle Joe!!! Purple heart

Seriously, I don't think Biden gained ten points, but the last poll at just 24% may have been an outlier. I think this poll and the Fox News one are most accurate where the race stands.

I did predict that Warren may had hit her peak too early, and that she could eventually lose some of that support until the primaries, but I didn't expect that to happen so soon and abruptly. Saddened.

Warren's support is up in this poll, though. It's just that Biden's is up more.

I know what's going on why these polls are deviating between Biden and Warren, the Sanders and Harris voters are making up their minds who to support in the primary. Change, which goes off of internet polls, is showing more support for Warren, the other pollsters are showing more support for Biden. Biden is still a formidable for and he may win after all.

Every single pollster which makes a real effort in polling young voters, especially voters younger than 50, shows absolutely abysmal numbers for the kid. Let's not kid ourselves, that is simply the truth. Even though Ice Spears might still think of Biden as this year's Hillary, which he's probably stupid and partisan enough to think. God bless the soul.

Someone needs to go after this schmuck next debate. I cant believe we're gonna nominate an 80 year old who can't draw 200 people and sucks at debates.

This is our answer to a cult.

Correct, but unironically.  Biden is the answer to those who don't seek a cult leader in their candidate.

Biden agrees with Warren and Sanders on everything except reparations; however, millionaire tax, medicare for all, and the wealthy is corrupted, all packaged different ly.

With Biden, we have a 303 election, with Warren, its a 278, Hilary election and Warren can be beaten

Same thought, Biden aint perfect but this should definitely not be the year for an ideological purity test, stakes are way too high.
