I think that Van Hilleary will be the nominee, I think this poll is wrong and if that is correct, Ford beats Van Hilleary.

Ford is way more competitive than that poll shows!

This poll shows him tied with two of his three potential rivals, clearly behind only one of them, so this is a tall claim.
On the other hand, this poll undersamples Blacks. (13% in the sample, 16.4% in the state population, though I don't know their share among likely voters.)

Reading the demographic sample, this really confused me:

Registered to vote?
Yes 88%
No 12%

Would those just be young people who've recently turned 18, plan to register, but haven't yet? The primary is on August 3, and 12% of the people in that poll haven't registered to vote. That doesn't seem like it's the best way to do a poll...

Also, it really seems that Ford should've been doing better by now if he has any chance. Republicans are still all infighting, and Ford is stuck below 40. Once Republicans get their message straight and act in unison, it seems that they'll grab at least some of the undecided people. On the other hand, everyone knew all along it would be Ford, and if you like him, you're probably gonna be decided to vote for him already.

Does that seem like a sound analysis, or am I missing something?

The Zogby polls says that Corker is the weakest candidate, I think this poll isn't correct.

I think that Zogby was wrong another poll confirmed the University of TN poll, the Chattanooga Mason Dixon Free press poll.
