On the GOP side, John McCain wins the nomination and he selects Mark Sanford as his running mate.

On the democratic side, Hillary Clinton is nominated very narrowly on the first ballot at the democratic convention and she selects Evan Bayh as her running mate.

For the independents, Ralph Nader runs and he selects his 2004 running mate, Peter Camejo as his running mate.

Discuss with maps.

Obviously Nader wins a 48-state landslide.

Don't be ridiculous.  Nader's ceiling is 46 states, tops.

With a split opposition, McCain would definitely win.
