In addition to her telling the Bosnia trip LIE on March 17 2008, she also told “the Bosnia sniper fire” LIE in a campaign speech on February 29 2008:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZzDkTUtTGXU

"One of the great honors of being First Lady and of being a senator is the time that I was privileged to spend with our troops here at home, in Iraq and Afghanistan, in Bosnia, Kosovo, and places around the world. I remember particularly a trip to Bosnia where the welcoming ceremony had to be moved inside because of sniper fire." Hillary Clinton- February 29 2008, WACO, TEXAS.

So, does each repetition of this lie get its own thread?

Moderators, clean-up in aisle 23.0...

Actually, moderators should permanently ban ghostmonkey. I don't care mind criticisms about Hillary Clinton, I welcome them, but he pollutes these forums with filth over and over again.

Though I'm an Obama supporter, my psychology class teaches me the folly in calling this a "lie" or making it out to be a horrible thing.  Memory is a notoriously fickle thing, and, if this memory was emotionally charged, about 50% of it was false.  Consider, for instance, a moving speech that Ronald Reagan once made, where he described in vivid detail a story he remembered hearing about a heroic fighter pilot who did something or other that involved his tragic but ultimately crucial death for the American cause.  During the speech, he became quite visibly emotional recalling the scene.

Unfortunately, said incident was actually the plot of one of Reagan's myriad B movie roles, released shortly after World War II.  Through the problems of memory retrieval, Reagan came to believe that that plot was an actual story he heard.

The media is drooling over this story, from what ive seen anyways. I dont think in any way its going to overshadow whatever the Wright affair did...even if it seems like Obama is recovering slightly now. Now CNN has come up with its own story now about Obama visiting St. Thomas during Easter or something. Lord help us if he doesnt take a break or anything....Roll Eyes

Nonsense. You don't just "not remember" that you didn't actually receive incoming sniper fire, were rushed with your head down into a waiting convoy and rushed away from a tarmac. To turn a routine pit stop in Bosnia, complete with News Crews and Children giving you a poem into a war zone is nothing less than a bold faced lie.

Uh, she never said anything about what happened when she got on the ground...

Yeah, typical response. Silence anyone who says anything you disagree with.

Everything I've said about Hitlery is true. I've served in the military under a Klintoon administration. I know the damage that they did to this country. The fact that she is trying to steal her way into the Whitehouse now is beyond the pale.

Although saying things like "Hitlery" and "Klintoon administration" probably makes you feel good inside and is mighty cute, you aren't going to win anyone's respect here with such mindless associations. Granted the Atlas is not a news outlet and is full of deeply opinionated people and political hacks, but this sort of stupidity is not going to be ignored as stupidly as it's said. You won't convince anyone is who disagrees with you and you won't get any support from anyone who may.

By the way, "Silence anyone who says anything you disagree with?" You will find plenty of people here who are not big fans of Senator Clinton, myself included, but your style of criticism is really obnoxious. I don't think you should be banned, but you could at least give your reporting of her missteps and scandals a little less.. should I say, sensationalist?
