Also, Down is an idiot jerkface for the whole secession thing.

Maybe the AUB could have lasted if the last elections had gone differently...

As in, the ones that took place before the party's formation? Or the special election?

Also, I think I speak for the SDP's members when I say that most of the leftist AUB members are welcome to join us.

The regional elections last time and the special election.  My loss coupled with HappyWarrior's 3rd place finish kind of ended us as a party.

If you had the discipline to run one candidate, HappyWarrior could've won.

Yeah, that makes sense. Your running four candidates didn't help, either. Of course, I thought the idea was flawed from the start.

Also, I think I speak for the SDP's members when I say that most of the leftist AUB members are welcome to join us.

Eh...

Nope. IRV means that vote-splitting isn't really a factor. It was an Andrew vs. Al race.

Even though the AUB has died, I will continue my quest to reform our game, and first and foremost amongst those reforms is calling another Constitutional Convention.

For now I will sit as an Independent, but should a party choose to adopt my stances of game reform I would be happy to join them.

Constitutional Convention is an amazing idea, it sprung over 20 pages of debate in the Southeast and lead to the current brewhaha

But we are open to reform, as it clearly shows.
