Not if Gilles Bisson wins. He's fluently billingual. But, he won't.

Problem is, the best candidates probably wont be running. Like David Miller (mayor of Toronto), Olivia Chow (Jack Layton's wife), Avi Lewis, Naomi Klein, Alex Munter, Cheri DiNovo, etc.

MPPs Gilles Bisson (Timmins-James Bay) and Andrea Horwath (Hamilton Centre) have declared intentions to run. MPP Michael Prue (Beaches-East York) is expected to announce later this week and MPP Peter Tabuns (Toronto-Danforth) is organizing (and is the favourite, from what I hear).

I'm not happy with the field of candidates, to say the least. Probably will support Horwath.

Two Toronto candidates and a Franco from North Ontario?

Geo- and Demographic considerations point to Horwath being favored here (although those aren't everything, and I actually know nothing of the candidates. Smiley )
