I think only the very, very few here are independent.  And now I'm starting to even wonder if they are.  Undecideds are different, but equally few in number.

Despite everything lately about Palin -- the Desperate Housewives storyline rumor, the now-pregnant teen daughter, the AIP membership, the husband's DUI, and the trooper -- I'm still leaning more toward McCain than I was toward Obama.  No more so, no less so, but just about the same.

The "Trig is really her daughter's child" rumor was just that and the AIP thing is so small of a factor it's pretty much a non-factor to me.  The DUI was over 20 years ago and could be argued as a mistake made in one's youth that one took responsibility for.  The pregnant teen could be argued the same but might be a bad argument for abstinence only sex ed.  That leaves troopergate to play out, and as far as scandals go it doesn't seem too severe of one.

Still, I could flip toward Obama.  I wouldn't be crazy about voting for him and would be holding my nose while doing so, but it's still possible that I might.  Let's see what happens after the debates and over the next couple of months.

I'm leaning toward Sen. McCain right now, because of the pick of Gov. Palin.

Still no clue, both seem to be shying away from the aspects that I liked about them.

I would say GM3 is a true indie. I am not sure about the others, though.
