From www.politics1.com:

NADER MAY PASS ON '04 RUN IF DEAN IS DEM NOMINEE. Former Green Party Presidential nominee Ralph Nader continues his on-and-off flirtation with making a fourth run for the White House in 2004. Nader has yet to decide if he'll run next year and yet to decide if he'd run as a Green or an Independent if does make the race. However -- in what must be good news to the Democrats -- Nader told the Wall Street Journal on Friday that he would probably not run if Howard Dean is the Democratic nominee. "Reading his position papers sounds eerily similar to what we've been saying. He speaks clearly … not in Senate-ese … and projects vigor. We need a macho Democrat," said Nader. Nader has previously expressed strong support for Dennis Kucinich's Presidential campaign, but this is the first time he's praised Dean. Don't think, however, that Nader is a total Dean cheerleader: "Dean's record as Governor is nothing to shout about," explained Nader.

Let Nader know your opinions, his web site is soliciting advice.

I urged him to run to provide a contrast to the Democratic nominee.  Strangely, the 2000 exit polls indicated 2% of the actual Gore voters would have voted for Bush without Nader in the race.  Perhaps Nader made Gore more centrist?

I know that exit poll does exist, but it really doesn't make much sense.  Don't run, Ralph; even Michael Moore doesn't think you should run.

I'ma republican and care about the environment.  In fact Nader was my 2d choice in 2000, Bush , Nader then Gore.

Nader will run if he can get th emoney and on the ballot he said.  He should teh Dems are not addressing his issues and just blaming him for THEIR loss in 2000.

Why not offer him head of the EPA or something or be willing to put him and some of his party in some qadministration positions.

Please don't run, Ralph! He doesn't don a Presidential look. Yes, it's partly about looks. Kucinich would never be president, his toupe is hideous, just like Jim Traficant's. Bush looks Presidential, so did Clinton. Also, if Dean wins the nomination, here's one DEM for the Republicans! If John McCain was the nominee in 2000, he would've had my vote. He isn't such an extreme right winger. He's a moderate. Clark has the Presidential look and Charisma, so does Jonathan Edwards.

Dean does not need your help to loose.  Smiley
