I propose that the New England Flag of the American Revolution be the new flag for the Northeast region.

Shouldn't the colour blue be involved in some way? You know, Red, White and Blue. And why a pine tree? To be honest I'm not a big fan of this flag.

This is a historic New England flag that was used by Navies during the Revolutionary war.  If it conveys the appropriate symbolism for the AF Northeast, then it is fine.

You could replace the pine tree with the Maple leaf Smiley

I have a suggestion if anyone is interested. I suggest that we use a blue backdrop, I just checked the Northeast state flags, and most have blue backgrounds, and in the middle a circle of stars, one star for every state. I'm no good with paint, but it's pretty straight forward, so if someone could whip that together, or give a thought on it, it would be appreciated.
