Stop clutching at straws, you would only get two votes if you run ReaganFan. Face facts - for the good of the party you should leave the ticket.

Reaganfan--see the no one in your party is asking you to resign.
Stay--don't buckle.
Even if you lose, you can have a following.  Never quit.
Would anyone have any respect today for Goldwater or McGovern if they just quit midway?

I agree. I will not run for president this time. In 4 months perhaps.
